Do all Shakebug plans include the full 2.0 feature set — Crash AI, Session Journey, Retention and more?

Yes. Every plan, including the free Basic plan, includes Crash AI grouping, Session and User Journey tracking, real-time product analytics, custom event tracking, cohort retention analytics and in-app ratings and reviews. Plans differ by scale — projects, team members, monthly active users, data retention window and video storage — not by which features you can use.

What's the difference between Session Journey and User Journey?

Session Journey shows the timeline of screens, events, bugs and crashes within a single session, and works even for apps with no login since it tracks anonymous sessions by device. User Journey ties one identified customer's entire history together across every session, once your SDK sets a user ID.

Is Crash AI the same as basic crash reporting?

No. Crash capture records every crash as it happens on any plan. Crash AI goes further: it automatically groups identical crashes into a single issue with first-seen date, affected devices, OS versions and trend, so you can prioritize what's actually hurting the most users instead of triaging duplicates one by one.

Does the free Basic plan include product analytics and retention?

Yes. Product analytics (sessions, DAU/MAU, stickiness), custom event tracking, and weekly cohort retention are available on every plan, including Basic, within that plan's monthly active user and data retention limits.

Does the Startup Plan include everything in Shakebug 2.0?

Yes. The Startup Plan is the Premium plan at a discounted rate for eligible early-stage companies — the exact same feature set, including Crash AI, Session and User Journey, analytics, retention and ratings, just at $20/month for your first year.

What if I go over my limit of MAU (monthly active users)?

In case you reached your MAU limit, the application will not allow adding more bugs or crashes.

How do you define a member?

Member is added user who can see all the bugs/crashes, analytics, and event of the assigned application.

What plan is right for me?

We are suggesting using the Standard plan but if you doubt our system or functions then first try our Basic plan for free.

What are the different ways to pay for a Shakebug plan?

User can pay using Visa, MasterCard, or American Express credit cards.

Is upgrading prorated?

Yes, upgrading your plan during a subscription period is automatically prorated.

When will I be charged?

Your account will automatically be charged monthly or yearly once you activate one of Shakebug's paid plans. You can cancel your account at any time.

Do you have a special custom plan for Enterprise or Software Agencies?

Do you offer on-premise hosting for Enterprise customers?

How secure is Shakebug.com payment?

We have collaborated with Stripe for the payment gateway. Shakebug does not store any card details on our database.
